I heard and purchased my first Gershman speakers 19 years ago, a pair of\u00a0<strong>Avant Gardes<\/strong>. Over the years, I have never heard a single pair of Gershman speakers that didn\u2019t sound like music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think I have given them a \u201cRoom of Distinction\u201d award at every show I have attended where they have used their POSH speakers. Reviewing the system they had at AXPONA this year, I said, \u201cThese have to be one of the best sounding and the best-looking speakers out there for under $20,000.\u201d You can read that post&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/theaudiobeatnik.com\/axpona-2019-gershman-acoustics-vac-oracle-and-nordost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>. Their room at CAF did not disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The System and The Sound<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the&nbsp;<strong>Gershman Acoustics<\/strong>&nbsp;listening room, they were using their new Grand Studio IIs. Don\u2019t be misled by the picture, the speakers are not simply a stacked pair of speakers on each channel. Instead, they use a different cross-over for each speaker. The rest of the system was an&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuphase.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Accuphase<\/a>&nbsp;270E<\/strong>&nbsp;integrated amplifier,&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nordost.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nordost Cables<\/a><\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naimaudio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Naim<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;transport, and a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.belcantodesign.com\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Bel Canto<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>DAC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sound of these speakers has more of the essence of their top of the line POSH speakers than any of their speakers that I have heard. If you can\u2019t tell, I really like these speakers. And I\u2019m enjoying having a little Gershman in my house now as I\u2019m currently reviewing a pair of their speakers.
